01 · Why it was shortlisted
A formula example, not a universal answer.
Ten percent is not a required niacinamide level. If your moisturiser already contains niacinamide, this may duplicate a step. The Ordinary describes a water-based serum with niacinamide and zinc PCA. The brand says to apply a few drops to the face morning and evening. It recommends using niacinamide and vitamin C in separate routines, and says that combining these active ingredients may decrease effectiveness. Patch test first, and stop if your skin feels uncomfortable.
